Welcome to Europe everyone! All of our flights ended up landing early, so we were able to all meet up before Dad and Jeannine (our friend from Belgium) came to pick us up. This is the beginning of our wonderful trip and we are all very excited. And very tired! We got loaded up and headed out for our 3 hour drive to Leiwen, Germany where we will be staying for the first leg of our trip.
All of our luggage. People were definitely staring at us! Our luggage completely filled Jeannine's Jeep Grand Cherokee!! We just can't thank our friend Jeannine enough for all that she did for us. She took off days from work just to pick up Bruce and then the rest of us from the airport, and she will take days off to take us back. She is a special person, for sure.
Once we got to Leiwen and got unloaded, we hit a grocery store for some essentials nd went home to relax before starting our journey tomorrow. And we found Phineaus and Ferb on the TV! Morgan was thrilled even though it was in German and she couldn't understand what the characters were saying. I am sure she could recite it anyhow!
